Hello all, been enjoying this game for a few months now and have run up against a few things I don't understand and hope you'll be able to fill me in on.
First off what exactly does discipline do, I get that it helps your individual cohorts preform better but what exactly is happening here? Is it better damage factor, extended breaking point or something else entire?
In the same vein what does land organization do? I have a feeling it has something to do with reinforcement speed but that's just a guess.
Another military question, I like to divide my standing armies up into groups of 6,000, 8,000, and 10,000 depending on the circumstances. This usually works well but in a few battles the highest martial skill general does not end up leading. Does anyone know what determines command in multiple army situations?
Oh and another question, what determines your nations overall troop support limit? In general it seems to have to do with the number of provinces you have, yet even with static nation size mine has fluctuated.
Finally is there any way to modify the diplomacy modifiers? Minus 60 seems a bit harsh just for being different religions. I don't think stuff like that mattered to much back then (Carthage and Macedonia alliance etc.).
