Why is this a problem? You should have thought that before creating a title. Majority of duchies do not originate that way anyhow.

Why? Tier is de facto. For all intent and purposes County of Flanders was a duchy, but it was never called a duchy.

The game does on no way reflect you are "less than" a duke, so does not affect AI or the game over all.

And why should it? Petty kings do not do anything either.

Allow free revocation of "Count Palatine" flagged titles.

Not outside it´s context, please. Paying slightly below 200 gold for a ducal title that my king has free revocation of is not what I suggested

I like flavour, don't misstake me there. But in this case, I think it should be more how your tilte is named. With no AI impact, it´s not filling it´s purpuse.
