In previous versions it was easier to distinguish counts and dukes due to the blue embroidery around each duke's character frame - counts were solid grey. Now, both counts and dukes utilize the identical blue embroidery and it makes it very difficult to distinguish the two at a glance. Although dukes have small gems in their respective character frames, these gems are too small and not salient enough to make an appreciative difference. I know government type complicates the current color coding system, but perhaps a new design is needed to clearly distinguish counts from dukes (esp. when you quickly glance at a ruler's numerous vassals).

Thanks.

Seriously, I don't want to be annoying, but you really need to vote for older threads instead of creating new ones... I'm just saying that for you, if you want your suggestion to succeed, it's better with one thread with lots of support than with lots of threads with little support. I feel like I'm saying that every other day. Thread in question is here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...asier-to-distinguish-character-frames.878655/

I won't vote on this. I agree that it is kinda hard to distinguish between count and duke (or king and emperor, for what it's worth), but on the other hand I really like that there are much more information available thanks to the ribbons.
