Country Names?

I'm working on a present-day mod with a friend, and I was wondering if it's possible to change country names. I know that you can't create countries from scratch without totally overhauling the game, but maybe it's possible to, say, change the country name "Sinkiang" to "Vietnam" or something. Any suggestions?

look in text.csv in the config dir and search for the country tag (Sinkiang has SIK) you wish to change. You'll find a line that says something like:
SIK;Sinkiang;/......../;X

Change Sinkiang to Vietnam.

Don't use Excel when you do this, open the file with i.e. Notepad.
