Perhaps we could simply have an event that gives China those territories when they go to war with India? That way they don't have to take 10% dissent for each.
I think minor countries like that should just go to india or the biggest country near them. For the africa part that has nothing maybe just one West african country that will have the entire area. I would hate to have provinces that have nothing.
Hmm, how about the special advantages/disadvantages to specific tags. Germany shouldn't have the GER tag anymore, North Korea should probably have it, etc.
We will need to know what all the advantages and whatnot are first!
Should the FRA tag (automatic defend democracies) go to the US or simply be deleted?
Also, I think countries like Costa Rica should be sacrificed so we can have countries like Bhutan and Nepal. Since there will be a lot of fighting on that front I think they are more important.

Bhutan and Nepal are by far more important, IMO. I don't know about the defend democracies thing, amybe nobody should get it?
It should go to US. They would declare war on any country that declares war on another democracy.
Ok, people, I looked into the .exe and adding more tags, and I keep running into the problem that it thinks it's a DOS program that runs, then disepears. Anybody know about this?
Since there seems to be a lot of changes that will happen in the map maybe you should update you id and tags accordinatly (no idea about the spelling for that one)
I’ve got the conversions almost done and I’m going to do a little play testing to get thing running properly. Right now ill leave the tags as they are. FRA will go to France and such and see how it runs. If it needs major changing I'll switch some tags up. When I’m done I'll post what list of tags I have got.
Does any one know what tags have hardcoded properties? An example would be GER Demanding territory, FRA defending democracies, USA having high consumer goods needs. Are there any more?
PS. I put Nepal back into the game but I don’t think Bhutan going to make it. Thats ok though Bhutan has no army I think of it as an impassible mountain aria.
Also I set aside a tag for the revolting Russian military in the Russian civil war, the only revolter, but I need a better name than Rebel Russians, any suggestions?

Well, Buke, did you read the plan of taking out all of Africa (minus Egypt, morroco, Libya, Algeria, and South africa) and all of central America. After you implement this plan, we will have more than enough tags for theoretical and war-zone nations.
Also, FRA-tag hardcoded effect is an automatic doW agianst any nation that DoW's a democratic nation (France should DEFINITELY not have this tag), and GER-tag has a 1-2% DoW Dissent (China should get this tag).
Take out Africa huh. How many revolters do we need? That would be like 10- 15 extra tags. You got some plans I missed?

Yes, we have plans you've probably missed.
After a AIM chat between Lunar, Vcarter and mineself, we came to the conclusion that we can get about 22 tags or so by taking out Central America and the Africa (minus Egypt, morroco, Libya, Algeria, and South africa). So, we are going to use this. Ut's better to have a whole area with "terra incognita" than little portions of a continent, we concluded.
if we have enough tags maybe we could have the rebels in columbia? Or a civil war there. I just feel that every continet should have a war. And i really like playing civil wars so it would be fun. And I know columbia is a hotspot right now
Well, basically I think we decided it was better to have several complete areas rather than a complete set of patchy areas. Marty wanted to get rid of South America but I don't think it's possible to fill out Africa, and since Africa is far less important, it seems best just to cut Africa out south of North Africa.
You're free to your opinion on this of course. Africa just doesn't have the GDP to do anything. I really want Bhutan in the game, I think it is important for aesthetics.

Bhutan is needed, since it's in the war-zone. And, South America should stay in, Both Central America should go, and Africa minus a few I listed should go, also.
Good, those countries are closer to the war-zone, therefore more important. I'd also add as theoretical nations:
Tibet
Palestine
Russian Communists (Cival War)
Russian Military (Civil War)
Kurdistan
Kosovo and other Balkan nations
Chechnya
And other fictional ones
