yes, i know this. What i'am asking is, are there counters that have national flags on them as they do in Doomsday? The counters in victoria are crap and look like crap, as do the sprites.

Agree that the sprites are l-a-m-e. I much prefer DD counters; but flags & attachment icons are key; the dot for the arty, the E for engineer, etc.

(I confess not to know the standard iconography for curiassier, or guards, or minesweeper, etc!)

Also - what the heck would anyone attach minesweepers/layers?

Yes, I made it some time ago. It's not complete (many countries not present in HOI2 had a generic counter) but at least it's something to start
