Countdown to release of the best game ever

Spending every free minute refreshing the forum... for what, I don't know, but the hype is all too real. I just want to play the damn thing.
I've been hyped for months for release, and when it's finally released I can't play it because I go away to watch Avengers: Endgame. I hoped for midnight release at least so I could play from the morning but sadly no.
Everyone is saying I should watch Twitch to get ready but that just makes it worse. Watching others play it just makes me want to play it more.

I'm spending the time desperately looking for more people to fill an EU and NA multiplayer session for Fri, Sat, Sun of release!!
Otherwise I'm trying to stay on top of work so I have lots of times to enjoy and soak in all the bugs and imbalances of a release day strategy game!

Not to be a downer, but if anybody seriously thinks is going to be the "best game ever" they're seriously in for a letdown.

shhhh… don't rain on the parade. It's the best game ever because ancient Rome is the most compelling, of course.
All shall hail Rome on the 25. Or become slaves when glorious invincible Roman Legions of the even more glorious invincible Roman Republic comes to enslave them.
Plus watching them make all those damn little mistakes, or spend 5 minutes going "what is this mechanic, I don't understand". How is it I seem to know more about the game than people actually playing the bloody thing? : P
Well at least it's not just me lol I've been playing some eu4 and having a really fun game. However there's some aspects of that game I personally struggle with. I have a feeling Im gonna like imperator alot more. Plus I'm super into the time period of imperator. I cant wait!!!
As a 13 year old, EU4 was the best game ever when it was released for me at least. I also think it was the first game I pre-order.
EU4 is probably the best game ever released from my perspective. It’s by far the game I’ve played the most, certainly the one I’ve enjoyed the most, and definitely the game to which I’m most emotionally attached. But who knows! Maybe I:R will finally knock europa out of the top spot!
I thought baldur's gate 2 was the best game ever lol. I discovered stellaris a little after it was released and that was my introduction to paradox games. Didnt know em before that. Have like 700 hours on stellaris great game. Couldn't get into ck2 but hoi4 and eu4 are good games.

Rip, Endgame releases the 24th (today!) in my country so I'll be able to play at release!
