Give the guys time to thoroughly test and improve! Wouldn't you all rather have an excellent finished product then i.e. an AI with flaws due to lack of time to test extensively? It stated Q3 2009, I'd say late September would be wise, they only moved into beta about 6 weeks ago...

It's not that I like to spoil the fun, but according to Amazon the game won't be available until 15 August.

I was assuming he was right and going off what Steam usually does, at the end of the day, this is ALL pure speculation. Hopefully the pressure from E3 will get it finalized soon?

Not sure what Steam are basing their facts on considering they say you will need a graphics card with 1GB of memory on, four times what Johan said, and they have also decided that you will need a 3GHz dual core when as far as I'm aware no proccessor requirements have been mentioned. The 1GB card has to be a mistake. The overwhelming majority of performance cards are still at 768.

Plus, well, this isnt Crysis. Paradox games have functional graphics. A bit on the ugly even. We dont play their games for the graphics, but the gameplay. So logically Id expect requirements to be quite low, though admittedly Ive been amazed by how demanding the 3d engine is in regards to medium-specs machines. But 1gb graphic cards? Thats just nonsense talk.

Actually, I wouldn't care if it was buggy on 08/04/2009 vs. less buggy on 09/15/2009. There will be patchs no matter when it is released. At least we could be playing with the new huge map, and getting used to all the new features even if they produce wobbly results....
