It's the date on Steam and so far that is the only exact date we have seen and we know it is going to be released in August at the moment.

It's not that I like to spoil the fun, but according to Amazon the game won't be available until 15 August.
And exactly on what cold, hard facts are you basing your assumption that August 4th is THE date?

NASA's countdowns are based on their own cold, hard facts about their own projects. In other words, they know what they're talking about. But, hey, it's a semi-free country, do your thing. By the time Aug. 4th gets here you will have worked yourself into a frenzy and will be confined to a padded room with very limited computer access. But, to each his own -- whatever gets you through the night.

That's a painful level of honesty BUT on topic, we really need an OFFICIAL date prior otherwise, I'm just going to assume August in general. Maybe whenever they started it is when they release it. (you know, a year deadline sort of thing?)
