Yeah... I've got to admit I've plot killed plenty of characters largely due to them having a Jewish spymaster that hates their guts.
There probably should be a modifier "I owe you one for giving me a home". Or maybe throw in a minor event chain where at first he doesn't particularly like you but over time you may become friends, possibly picking up the Sympathy for Judaism trait. Alternatively, maybe you'll show your true colors and he then leaves your service in frustration.
Actually, that could easily apply to all Councilors.
EDIT: This post has received more "Agrees" than I'd ever think. Perhaps I'll make a separate thread and write down some ideas for narrative events between your councilors. I can already imagine befriending a councilor and then getting them do you favors, possibly even laying down their lives to protect you or your dynasty from harm in the case of a marshal or spymaster.
This old post of mine received a whopping 28 "agrees" and zero dislikes. Should you guys at Paradox ever decide to look at councilors, may I suggest adding some minor modifiers or narrative events? People truly enjoy their roleplaying and its one of the strengths of CK2, but if not for that reason there probably should be something to at least make sure a Jewish spymaster is more blessing than curse.
You may be able to make this idea part of a DLC even that expands upon court intrigue, courtiers, and your council. I can't be the first person to suggest something along those lines, because right now your council is just numbers and most of your courtiers useless.
I know what I'm saying is fairly vague, but think just for a moment. Even the popular Game of Thrones mod has done more to involve your council- why shouldn't the base game?
