Hi,
Council tasks like increase development or increased control are really important but the bigger your empire is, the harder it is to follow and click everytime you want to use it. I would suggest to have those buttons available on screens where it makes sense, for example:
I click on some county because I want to check their development. Dev is low and it turns out that control is also low. Now I must click on the council tab, pick a task and click county for both dev and control. Then I click on another county and see that faith is not mine so I again have to click on the tab, pick a task and use it.
Instead there should be buttons (visible only if conditions are met) to increase those stats. Kinda like you can right click on a person and use the Sway scheme.
Also, it would be nice to queue tasks, for example, I have 5 low control counties so there could be a button next to my Marshal to start project and then a map shows up, similar to giving away counties to vassals, where I can pick in order counties that I will be increasing control in. If they hit 100 control, the task automatically switches to the next county, etc.
Both of those ideas come from late game where there is simply so much clicking that you can keep up with it. On lower tier realms (duchies or small kingdoms) it kinda makes sense because you are closer to the realm, but when you are emperor it would be nice to have some quality of life features. Additionally, such project can be a place for additional events and interactions

Also would be nice to see task progress directly on main screen instead in council tab, toggleable small icon in left upper corner of screen
