Couldn't register at game launcher

[99problems]

Bought on Steam.

before starting the game, I've registered my key at this forum. When I press play the launcher comes out and this message "This Steam game requires yada key. When the game asks yada type it as shown". It keeps popping out while playing too, kinda like I havent registered? How to make it acknowledge that I HAVE registered?

Key needs to be activated/registered in the Steam client/software as well as far as i know (I use the GamersGate variant).
This Forum has nothing to do with Steam.

I think he means the message you always get when there are registration keys tied to a game in the Steam Games Library The window that pops up 99problems is nothing you've to worry about, the key you see there is simply the key that you used to register the game here on the forums and it is not necessary to use it anywhere else in the game. You can simply ask the popup not to show up anymore.
