Could use some help with Naval Invasion

Playing Vanilla as Germans trying to invade Norway.
Invasion plan set from Kiel through Danish Belt to Norway. Invasion arrow shows 5 divisions assigned. Convoy tab shows convoys assigned. 100% naval supremacy and 100% intel efficiency in Danish Belt. Planning period counts down but troops don't embark. No air supremacy in Norway - is this needed?

Tried variations on different ports or number of divisions - same result.

I'm *far from* an expert in naval invasions, though the same thing happened to me during my first naval invasion and I realized I wasn't at war with the country I was invading. Mister Analyst makes that point as well when asking this question - enemy / contested? Naval invasions can be a little tricky the first few times out, and there are some great videos on YouTube of people successfully invading. That's how I learned. Good luck! Edit for clarity. J

Thanks for the reply. Tried again after Denmark capitulated. Ordered forces (1 div/port) from 4 different ports - same results Invasion arrows show the assigned divisions and Convoys show 10 convoys assigned.. Control over danish belt 100% intel 100% - and at war with Norway. Going to look at Youtube as The Moe suggested. JO

Do you have naval supremacy in all of the sea zones that your invasion arrow traverses? See naval supremacy.

Tried to keep it simple - only going through the Danish Belt. 100% Navel superiority there on several attempts 100% intel too. Also had air superiority in Danish Belt. To keep it simple I have been sending 1 division or a few divisions at a time, Several of the YouTube videos sent Armies - is that required? Starting to think this is a bug. Thanks. jo

You know you can select army groups and the left click on the invasion arrow to add more companies to the invasion. If you hover over the transport icon in the top bar, it will show you how many of your transports you're using for the invasion, and specifically what portion of the max capacity of your invasion transports you're using. Until you research better transports, you're limited to 10 divisions, though combat width doesn't seem to come into play. So, 10 divisions at 20 width is somehow the same as 10 divisions at 40 width, as far as your transport capability goes. Good luck!
