So, nice game! Started my first city which grew nicely in a chaotic manner. Now I know this isn't the perfect city or whatever but I dont want it to be. I want it to be dirty and chaotic and fun so I'm quite happy with how Dirtbomb has turned out.

Except for traffic. Quite early on i got problems with bodies and garbage not being picked up. I read on forums and realzed that I had to look into the traffic situation. It was horrible. Small roads all congested and cars standing still. I experimented around, building bigger roads and eventually a roundbout. It got better but as you can see on the screen cap it is still bad. Cars are standing still in the roundabout moving around slowly.

Most of my industries and garbage dumps are to the right side. Most people live on the left side so alot of traffic move that way. Trucks with goods from the highway and railway can drive in on a separate way on the far left.

So, instead of experimenting more I decided to ask the community for help. What do you think I should do? More roundabouts? Where? Upgrade the smaller roads? Less intersections? I am grateful for all feedback!

I would make two extra highway connections. The first going from the highway just left of your three-way interchange to the avenue making that also avenue so extending the current one to the highway. Then another one left of that connected further north, that I would build with ramps.

Then at the roundabout itself I would build an extra "layer" clockwise direction with three or maybe six lanes. I would also make an overpass with the ramps you normally use for highways.

Then the last thing I would do is to build a short between your residential and industrial north of the roundabout that uses a bridge to cross the road in-between.
