Could someone explain Inflation?
How it works, and how you get it down?

- If 25% of your income is from gold, your inflation will rise.

- If your neighbouring countries produce a large amount of gold, your inflation will rise.

- Inflation rises by the amount you focus on your treasury, so if you placed the treasury slider half way, that means you will gain 0.50 inflation every year.

- Inflation decreases if you build "Governers" which you can do once you've got to (Baroque) Infrastructure Level 5. If you build them in every province you own, inflation decreases (deflation) by 0.20, but if you have the treasury slider more than 0.20% of the way, say 0.35% then you will suffer 0.35% minus 0.20% so you gain 0.15% inflation a year.

- Inflation increases with bankruptcy by 10.0%

- Inflation decreases with the "Deflation" and "Exceptional Year" and "Creation of Bank" events by -2.0%

- Inflation increases or decreases by normal events too, such as (AGCEEP) Mehmed II has to finance his wars so inflation increase.

Also, with higher inflation things will be more expensive. For example, a "Tax Collector" is worth 50 ducats, but if your inflation is 50.0% then it will be worth 75 ducats, because half of 50 is 25, and that is added on to the cost.

AFAIK, no.
