Could I (legally) gift EU III to someone?

I have EU III Vanilla, Complete, HTTT, and DW.
I don't need Vanilla though, as the other 3 form a unit.

Could I legally "give" someone else the "codes" for the game (as a gift, not for sale) and have it removed from my account as being registered to me, so they can register it to them? I know that some Steam games allow this but I did not buy though steam.

I'm curious what the official stance Paradox has on this is.

According to European Court of Justice (Case C-128/11, http://curia.europa.eu/jcms/upload/docs/application/pdf/2012-07/cp120094en.pdf, http://curia.europa.eu/juris/docume...en&mode=req&dir=&occ=first&part=1&cid=2757620) it is legal to sell your used software license in EU.
On the same basis ceding your ownership of the license to somebody else should be equally legal.

Paradox is based in the EU, I'm from Canada, the place I bought the game from is based in the US, and the guy I want to give it to is from Israel

The software license may be transferable but AFAIK they can't/won't change forum accounts like that.

There is no mechanism on the forums to move or remove game registrations, I'm sorry.

Really EU3 costs like $5 now, not sure all this is worth it ...
