Reset default in 5.1 dw for message settings doesn't work and mine are all messed up. It would take hours upon hours to reinstall the game to get it back, could someone just send me theirs (default plz)

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Delete the file then run the game and to the 'reset defaults' and it should recreate the file. You may be having a problem because of Windows' UAC if you have the game installed in the default location in Program Files. I would strongly recommend installing somewhere outside of Program Files like C:\Games.
