I assume I would not exist, because butterflies.
But yes, probably.
Fair enough.

I always play the overdog because I am very bad at computer games.I always (mostly) play the underdog in Computer games. Carthage, CSA, UK, Italy, Japan.
Much fun.
Thats the beauty of games like HOI, EU or Victoria.I always play the overdog because I am very bad at computer games.![]()
I do not think I have ever actually finished a paradox game. The furthest I get is with South Africa, I played a KR game where I played as socialist South Africa and kicked the Europeans out of Africa. I also played as Oranje in Vicky1 and took over all of Africa that way.Thats the beauty of games like HOI, EU or Victoria.
Pick what you want.

I've only finished a couple of times. Normally, either the situation gets so far out of hand that I'm no longer relevant (eliminated, reduced to a puppet government, or otherwise left with no likely options for improvement), or else have blobbed to the point where there is no longer any doubt of the outcome, as in "I can easily take on the 2nd through 5th largest powers combined, and at least one of those is an ally". Playing any further is just tedium.

I tend to enjoy the idea of KR games. But the problem is that I get so interested in the storyline that I am less interested in the game itself.
For the ignorant among us, KR game?
To be honest with you I wanted Carthage to win.
I have no clue really, I don't know much about Carthage. All I know is that Rome is the elephant and Carthage is the whale, and that whales are better than elephants.Carthage or Hannibal? Those are quite different beasts. ;-)
Because the Carthagian aristocracy had good reasons not to support Hannibal.

None of you have heard of the classic elephant versus whale historical match-up?
Sure but Rome versus Carthage is classic Elephant/Whale stuff.I assume you mean Napoleon and Britain as applied to any large military land v sea conflict.
