Im playin tha game on very hard / furious cause thats about tha only time you get a challenge using england but whatever. i was jus curious since i didn get a CoT in anglia in 1530, will i ever get one ?

thank you, i've never played with England, i prefer more dificult games (like Ethiopia, Incas, Salzburg(in MKJ)...)

me : Ottoman Empire
younger brother: Portugal
middle brother: Castile

you shold ALWAYS choose the CoT option (i gives you free ships and a shipyard at a very low cost)
There seems to be sizable offset, as the event only triggered around 1545. Of course, this is probably the EEP at work.
Completely unrelated: Castellon, where did you get your name? I have just discovered the battle of Castillon in Guyenne in the 100YW in my Euro. History 1300-1700 class (which is made far easier because of this game ) and was wondering about any connection.

England seems to be a tough MP nation, though. Maybe because their armies get tweaked towards quality and Spain and France are heavy contenders for their colonies.
Other:
I thought Castellon was like Castellan, but in another language. More supported by a title like 'Keeper of the Castle' when that is just what Castellan means

PS: LoD, you could conquer Flanders and there you have your CoT. It is also the CoT to which your colonies will be linked.
Right now im playing a GC as England. Its 1494, ive discovered the Maya, conquered all of France and am in the process of diplo-annexing Gelre and Kleves(or Hessen, cant remember right now). Scotland and Ireland are mine, and on the lowest revolt risk possible. Anyway, the CoT's i own are helping out signifigently. Ill de France, Flandern and in a few more years Anglia. Just have to wait on Martin Luther anf Henry 8th to give me the go-ahead to start colonizing.
I dont want to start colonizing before i have reached my final religion, reformed , or at least protestant. As it was my understanding that your colonies keep your former religion, or at least it was difficult dealing with them after you change. Am I wrong? If so please tell me, as it would help me in My quest to build an English speaking empire.
Only if they are large. You can send a few (one-two) colonists to every province you want, thus protecting them for yourself. Then TP the inland to keep that for yourself as well.
When you have changed religion to final one you can then make the colonies into cities with correct religion.

The Aztecs start with a CoT in Zapota (sp?) and the Incas have one in Cuzco. Ususally several new CoTs will form in the Americas after the Europeans start colonizing. Commomly, there will end up being CoTs on the west coast of N. America and in Brazil; and somewhat less often in the Caribean, the southern tip of S. America, and the Hudsons Bay area.
Hmm.. Zacatecas (Tenochtitlan on map IIRC, also Aztec capital) and Chimu? (Inca capital).
Then I usually see one in San Bernadino after a while.
More rarely one appears in north coast of canada, furthest into the bay.
Hah ya i know i did that cause for som reason, all tha big countries (france, spain, austria) are all dead. They all went bankrupt and had civil wars and thats gay. and its not that i didnt choose tha naval option which gives you tha CoT, its because it wasnt in tha option. i think its because im playing on VH.
