As the years pass, our BadBoy level drops enough to allow some conflict. Time to secure a solid foothold in India.
Rajputana is certainly the heavyweight here, but they are fortunately far behind in tech.
Khandesh, our primary target, offers an acceptable peace.
Dadra is one of two provinces that ensures this pleasant modifier.
We max our Centralization again, and stability drops.
Hinterpommern becomes French core.
As does Avignon.
We secure the Center of Trade in Kutch, and much of the coastline.
With our core on Kalisz about to expire, we pick a fight with Poland.
That impossible-to-spell-correctly Indian nation is reduced to a One Province Minor.
Meissen leads the alliance, thanks to their Personal Union with Poland. This... must be taken advantage of. Selective assaults begin.
We charge Meissen, our core in Kalisz, and Poland's two Centers of Trade - and ask Meissen to give up the most valuable Polish lands. However, we slightly miscalculate BadBoy numbers...
...which has a disastrous result.
We cross the threshold. This has immediate effects.
Friesland attacks, alone.
Ceylon wants their province back.
The Swiss warns us.
The Austrians taunt us to bring our relations below +100.
Syria sends a blustering ambassador.
So does Holland...
...and Castille...
...and Yemen.
I can but apologize for messing up on fractions. Crossing the threshold was
not intentional, I swear. If nothing else, this does force me to shed a fair amount of BadBoy, and cut back on all aggressive actions for a good while... but will the AIs let that happen?
It'll take less than a year to rectify the situation, and the two wars that started are easy to stalemate. The warnings, however, are a wee bit trickier to get around.
