CO's stubbornness AFTER the success of game (just like EA) ?

As CO has achieved the target of making Cities Skylines success, now they are following EA's footsteps by not giving a crap about users.. Best example is "blocking user's threads" without even a notification.

They only leave what they want to hear and block what they don't want to hear.

Is CO now a 'money' company and will CO = EA formula come true in next 6 to 12 months ?

I dunno, I've had some of my posts get stripped from the old forums but I think it might have been an automated thing? I don't think they're doing this intentionally, seems more like there are some rules around how you post. For example a post of mine that never 'stuck' was an intended double post, because no one had posted between my last reply and my newest update. I guess the forum expects you to just edit your last post?

I disagree with you they are nothing like EA. I sent an email to them the other day, and within 24 hours I got a response from the CEO herself.

Erm ... you missed the last post in that thread, which was from a forum moderator, stating the reason for the thread closure.

So there was indeed both notification and reason given.

That thread was closed by a mod, not by CO. That is what mods do, they close down threads that don't serve much purpose or are thinly disguised rants for someone's pet peave, like this one. So it is rather extreme to accuse CO of "not giving a crap about users" based on the disposition of your anti-chirpie thread.

As to your question: "will CO = EA formula come true in next 6 to 12 months?". EA is a publicly traded global company with over 8,000 employees and generates billions in revenue. CO currently has 13 employees, with 3 game releases to date, an office in Tampere, Finland and undisclosed revenue. They are clearly on a roll now, but somehow I doubt that they will reach EA status in the next 6-12 months, with or without Chirpie.

I suggest you rein in some of the hyperbole and bombast if you want your threads to last on here.

I have to agree with Invock here. They have had a wonderful launch overall, and are already working as hard as a 13 person team can on getting the things that aren't working, to work right. In three weeks we've seen two updates that have seen steady fixes to things, and I have little doubt more will follow. I would like to see a bit more in terms of what's still to come as far as a fix list is concerned, and maybe Moo can get us that. Other than that, they are taking their time and ensuring things are as close to perfect as they can be for the vast majority. They certainly aren't out to censor anyone who's having problems. Look at the patch updates for proof of that. They are more interested in helping those with legitimate issues than someone making threads that are inflammatory from the start in their wording. You've done this twice now OP, and I expect this one to be closed as well. Be constructive, but be civil about it.

And it is a moderator thing, as has been mentioned in the thread.
(last post in the closed thread being that of a Demi-Mod [which AFAIK are User-Mods that don´t get paid by Paradox ... so OP can´t even claim his thread was closed by an employee of Paradox])
