My saved games get corrupted and I can't load them, I don't use any mod, nor is it a problem from previous versions. It has happened to me more than 2 times. This time with Sweden in 1590

Happend to me too. My Denmark game yesterday, and now my GB game today. I play on Ironman, save and quit, all is fine. But when I tried to load them up again I immediately lost, and the save files are unusable...

Friend, I'm going to stop playing until they fix this, I also play in Ironman and it is unfortunate that these things happen, especially if you play Ironman
It happened to me as well, just bought the game a few days ago and happened in every game I started about 8-12 hours after I started a new game. After the first crash, it would just keep crashing every time I tried to play on that save again. I’d test if it does the same thing on GeForce now, but I’m not saving on the cloud and I don’t feel like playing 12 hours just to see if the crashes persist.
Are they actually corrupted or does it just crashes without corrupted files? Check if any files are corrupted on steam-> game properties

Decolonization bug and crashes are very common in 1.31.1.

Hi In regards to the current situation with 1.31.1 savefiles being sometimes bricked I'm accepting requests on fixing them. If your save has less than 500kb of size, it's unrecoverable If your save is not ironman or you don't care much about...
Same here. 10 hours + playing AYUTHAYA Iron man on the new DLC. I go for the mings, stop for the evening. And cant load the game again the following morning.

I've had the same thing. Started my game after the updates and I still can't load them properly. Happened twice now. (unrelated; even had renaissance spawn in ferrara with 14dev)
