Yep, just ran the Korean border conflict again, won it as the USSR and lost 100 PP as a result. I'll bug report it.

Well, I've just abandoned another historical USSR game (running the latest beta) because, even though this time around Italy didn't gobble Yugoslavia, Germany started the justification against the Soviet Union in May 40. I really hoped it wouldn't happen .

Keep in mind that Germany won't always declare now as soon as the focus ends. I had a game where they waited several months.

True, not sure if it was your report of that or not but I did see somebody say as much. I'll stack the western front against them (more than it already is) to see if I can dissuade them until '41.

So stacking the western front worked very well - Germany declared war in June '41. I'm beginning to think that this is WAD in that it prevents the Soviets from retreating to a defensive line behind the Dnieper and Daugava rivers (essentially ceding the Ukraine, half of Belarus and Lithuania) as soon as the justification starts.

My current game turned out a lot easier than it would otherwise have been because Romania and Hungary didn't join the Axis.

Anyway, what can't be WAD is Germany consistently taking Paris in November 39 and Italy roflstomping the UK in the Med and the Middle East.

Part of the problem is that AI Germany often skips a bunch of good focuses, like the Air ones and Reichsautobahn, in favor of getting to war goals. Regarding the Med, the UK AI just abandons it after the fall of France for whatever reason.

Also, they do the Weserubung focus and never invade Norway. I've also haven't seen them invade England anymore, so I suspect they somehow lost the ability to do naval invasions at all. Can someone dispel this?

What i can see is that AI Germany with double the ammount of MICs and CIVs still losses or stagnates in the Eastern Front, probably why paradox gave them such and advantage in the first place, but, it hasn't solved the issue, they just can't push beyond eastern Poland, AI vs AI, in any of the 10 games i've played so far.
