Game #1 with Cornflakes, playing as the UK.

September 25th 1939 and:

• Poland has fallen (much as expected)
• Without pausing for breath Germany invades the Benelux states (again)
• Most of the German fleet is at the bottom of the North Sea (estimated strength 12 ships and u-boats)
• Nationalist Spain, which is currently winning the SCW has thrown in with Germany
• China has capitulated

The only particularly unusual thing there is the SCW lasting that long. Since they don't have the recovering from war penalty, Spain simply uses the base tension thresholds regarding factions. Regarding the other stuff Germany skips a bunch of good focuses to take war goals, the AI has never to my knowledge conserved a fleet, and if China gets no decent LL or volunteers or if Japanese AI uses its air force decently China will capitulate that early.

Late November 1939:

• Lux, the Netherlands, Belgium and France have fallen (France sent some of its army to the Spanish frontier)
• BEF landed in France and left without engaging the enemy
• SCW over and Gibraltar has fallen to Spain
• 209 German transports sunk in the North Sea . . .
• British forces have taken Italian held East Africa, but after initial success in Eastern Libya have now encountered German forces (DAK)
