CORE Won't Run

I just installed C.O.R.E., and when I try to start a game, I get an error message:

missing eventdatabase:mod-CORE2\db\events\vanilla\cored_albania.txt

If I Ignore it, there are some other countries that it says the file is missing for. Then the game crashes. I checked the indicated folder, and there are no such files. Can anyone provide help?

Reinstall the game, but this time, opt to include the flavour events. The "no flavour events" version accidentally used an out of date file.

if you don't want to play with the flavour events, you will get an option to not bother with them in the first 2-3 days of the game.
