core mp problems

hi there...
Im currently runnin hoi 2 doomday 1.3
and I couldnt manage to play latest core yesterday on mp...due to a weird kinda bug that kept a window that kept poppin up, telling me that the game was being compresed by the host but you could never get past that steep.

We regularly play MP in vainilla hoi so I discarded any posible lan related error.

Is it possible to play core in MP?

You can't play CORE with a standard install, because (for whatever reason) MP play of mod-dir doesn't work.

You can play MP games of CORE if you copy all the CORE files into a (copy of) your base HoI2/DD/ARM install, and then correct the file path for event references, etc in the events.txt file in the db folder. This will make the this copy of HoI2/DD/ARM a "non-vanilla" install, of course, hence why I suggest using a copy of it.

Remember that both/all players will need to do this. Hope that helps.
