When/where do I get this? I already had a copy in Steam, but I've been told if you already have one you can get a giftable copy for a friend.

I never got mine, and I pre-ordered in June... Also, where is the converter?
I got Crusader Kings 2 off Gamers Gate. I bought Eu4 on steam and got the free copy of CK2 on steam, but i cant gift it to my cousin 
Other people have had it since yesterday, apparently! I just want to have access to the converter.
How are these things getting to us? It isn't stated specifically anywhere.

Same problem here- have GG CK2, and now i have steam CK2 too. Any chance to convert it into gift?
I gave mine a week ago to a friend. It should show up in your inventory/gifts, assuming you already have a copy of ck2 in your library.
I'm afraid you may be stuck with it. You could attempt to contact Steam support, but don't get too high hopes.
I just realized that this is also the problem I had. I didn't realize I bought it from GG. GG didn't even tell me I suddenly got a game for free!
I wish it wasn't already "pre-authorized" (on GG, if you never install a game or look at its CD Key, you can gift it). So, now I have a pointless extra copy of CKII. Yay, I guess...

This is indeed the case with Steam. I've had this happen with other games as well where I already had a copy through another venue and wanted to gift my Steam copy to someone else... I contacted Steam support and they refused to change its status.
I pre-ordered directly from Paradox' webshop on the 31st of July, and I've also not recieved the CK2 copy to gift to a friend, nor have I recieved the converter yet.. I did get the cd-key for EU IV earlier today however..

No-one really has the converter yet, I don't know how the CK2 will be distributed from Paradox. I'd wait another 2 days for the final release.
With the GG version of CK2... there is a good chance that the steam copy will go right to your steam library and not to your inventory,which is unfortunate.
Yeah... I preordered 4th August and I still haven't got CK2 or the converter. Guess it's either tomorrow or (I hope) Wednesday with the new CK2 patch)
It'll probably arrive as a cd-key in my email inbox eventually.. I already own a copy, so I'm good, but would be nice to be able to hook someone else to play this brilliant game
Does anyone happen to know if the GreenManGaming bundled copy of CKII is a steam one or a DRM free one?
