Copy and Paste my city layout?

I started a new game last night. Created a logical and traffic-conscious layout. Got started and enjoyed building it up from scratch. I find the early game most enjoyable, as the dead people are not haunting me yet, as their spirits call to be picked up...

Then I had an idea. Would it not be great to create my city layout, just one district maybe, and then using my mouse, select it, copy it and paste it in the next area. Would save all that work doing it from scratch again?

So can I create a layout for a district in the assetbuilder and save it, and then use it just like any other asset?

I have not tried the asset builder, not much of an artist.

I've seen streamers do that with blocks of street-layouts not huge ones but at least 8x16 or even a bit bigger including pedestrian path Haven't tested it myself.

This isn't an argument against such a feature, this is just my opinion, this sounds incredibly boring and like it would suck all the point out of the game.

Well if I have spent about 20 minutes creating and refining a layout, it could be for a high-class suburban neighbourhood for instance, I could definitely use the layout again in another part of my city. I don't suggest just repeating the same layout for the whole city.
