Because Lithuania can for it too. It wouldn't make much sense in calling it Poland-Lithuania if Lithuania is in charge of it.

It was never called (even in semi-official instances) Poland-Lithuania. Such thing in EU1 was very annoying.
It was the Commonwealth of Both Nations, but certainly not "Poland-Lithuania".

Vijayanagar is pretty great. All hail the City of Victory!

It's not that it would conflict with the Netherlands, but with the first interpretation of the name. I would always feel rather odd about it, half expecting them to speak some mishmash of Dutch and Spanish and all living in cities with canals and dikes (even when other options are available). Maybe it's just me...

Actually, now I want to make a Dutch-Spanish UPCA.
