Looks like I know what I'll be doing when I buy El Dorado!Nah, we definitely need Rastafarian in the Nation designer. Also, we need an achievement or a mission for the Caribbean nation similar to the "recover our cultural heritage" mission that Japan gets (btw, kudos to the devs. Had to chuckleAlso, why wasn't Manga named yet? ).
Achievement: The five-leaved Herb
"Own Jamaica, Ganja, Amsterdam, Moron and the Highlands as Ethiopia".
There's a province called "Ganja" in eastern Anatolia. There should be a tag named that, with a bush or flower as its flag and green its color. Religion would be Coptic, ofcourse.
Ha ha, that is so obscure it has to be coincidence. (However if I heard of 420 years ago as a non-smoker halfway across the country, it might have penetrated the wider culture, like, because internet.)For bonus points, its province number is 420.
I only learned while writing the NI ideas that both the Zapotecs and Chachapoya were known as the people of the clouds... and both have awesome names. Coincidence???Chachapoya (both pronounciation and meaning)
He's probably having problems with how to pronounce the names. :/What's wrong with the French duchies (first post)?
Province names:Middag (at least for those of us who speak Swedish).
indeed.
It's not that it would conflict with the Netherlands, but with the first interpretation of the name. I would always feel rather odd about it, half expecting them to speak some mishmash of Dutch and Spanish and all living in cities with canals and dikes (even when other options are available). Maybe it's just me...Except the game already calls the Netherlands "Netherlands", which was officially called the "Republic of the Seven United Netherlands". The only semi-official name for it that I'm seeing with the words "united provinces" in it is "Republic of the Seven United Provinces", which isn't a good EU4 country name because it specifies a type of government.
Welcome in Polish language: chrząszcz brzmi w trzcinie w Szczebrzeszynie
Jharkhand vs Yarkand <- Sharkhand vs Yarkand.
chrząszcz is (I think) the longest single syllable word in polish (the vowel is "ą" ofc).Would you like to buy a vowel? Please buy a vowel
Worst by far: "Byzantium" - Should be "Roman Empire"
Not a country but a province in EU4 is named Fak-Fak.
