Cookie Thing Go Away

I mean, I get it. It's an archaic EU law that really should be changed. Risks from cookies are a 1999 threat, not a 2019 threat. Everyone knows everyone uses cookies and tracks website use now. We couldn't have Web 2.0 functionality (to use a 2005 term) without some form of site tracking.

Again, if this was law that the icon should be available at that spot all the time then Paradox are breaching the law due to many users not having the icon at all at the moment. So clearly this isn't a legal issue, or the website is completely broken. Only some users experience the cookie issue.

It's there to stay and the reason is quite simple, we want customers to be able to quickly and easily modify their cookie preferences. We have the same on paradoxplaza.com and it hasn't been an issue before .

Any chance you could at least have your website remember our preferences in the first place? Or maybe, just maybe, that we've logged in? Every day I load up the forum, I have to log back in. And, of course, that means I have to agree to cookies first, since you can't do anything until you're logged in. So, on every device, I have to agree to the cookies, then log in. Daily.

That is obnoxious, and this is the only forum I frequent that can't remember me day to day.

Aye, same here. Sometimes it remembers me for two days; other times it doesn't.

On a forum with good authentication integration, I would expect "remember me" to last at least a month.

Hey, at least you guys can tell it to accept the cookies and it remembers that for the duration of the session. I get the popup every time reply to a post, and it reappears every time I type a character.
