Game version 1.11.2.7710

Adding a cookhouse to a colony causes the food supply to run out.
I have a sustaining early colony with just 25 colonists.
Food sources from trapping, fishing, farming and hunting.

The food supply keeps up fine, up until I add a cookhouse.

My understanding of the cookhouse as described by the wiki is that it take 5 sources of food, ad water and wood and makes 10 meals.

Either these meals do not satisfy hunger, causing colonists to take from the supply, or the meals are created and dissappear, never to be served.

The meals are also no-where to be found, so I cant tell if a colonist consumes it or not.

Is there something wrong with the cookhouse mechanics?

Is this in a colony started under the current patch, or an earlier one?

Either way does it happen in every new colony you start now?

And can you please attach here a save showing the problem, thanks.

I'm on day 152 of my forth game. With cookhouse. 75 colonists.
Thats 3 times more than that first game.

So far its working as expected however some of the mechanics needs tweaking.
I think what happened that first go around with the cookhouse is that my colonists nutritien was way down which caused an initial run on food once the cookhouse was putting out the balanced meal.
Nutritiention says its the guage of a health balance between meat and vegtables.

The problem I see is that the guage doesn tell you in which direction you need to go which would have helped me make a decision on which meals to produce.

The guage should not be a bar graph like hunger, instead it should be some sort of balance graph where center is the right mix for nutritien and going to the sides would tell you how far away from the other nutrients you are.
