Is it me or does it seem like a fundamental flaw that unless you are part of the western Christian community you cannot choose your religion, and even then you only have three choices.
I had never really thought about it until I had force converted a large Muscovy to Catholic...pretty much wiping out the last Orthodox country in my game.
I feel like there should be some simple religious decisions that should allow a nation to convert to religion A if it's capital is religion A, OR if some percentage (33%, 51%, etc) of its controlled (or cored) provinces were of that religion.
I mean would Muscovy stay Catholic after the attention of the western powers were taken elsewhere? Heck no, they'd go right back to their old ways!
I think this could also add to the fun of playing the game as it could allow for some interesting religious changes. I realize that this could be exploited, but in a game like this people should be able to do what they want in a SP, and in an MP there are house rules.
