Hi all,
I'm currently playing a catholic country, and I'm considering switching to some pagan religion, just for doing something different (tbh, catholicism is the most boring religion I've played in ck2) I've played with muslims and orthodox and I like them a lot, but I'm considering pagan for the challenge and instead of starting over, I want to convert my char and (eventually) the country, but I have some questions:
I'm currently playing a catholic country, and I'm considering switching to some pagan religion, just for doing something different (tbh, catholicism is the most boring religion I've played in ck2) I've played with muslims and orthodox and I like them a lot, but I'm considering pagan for the challenge and instead of starting over, I want to convert my char and (eventually) the country, but I have some questions:
- I've read about "reforming" paganism; does it refer to changing from paganism to christian/musim/etc or does it mean you can somewhat "evolve" paganism into something deeper, but still being pagan?
- I'm playing with the great-grandson of my starting char, which was canonized and became the first Saint in Catholic church of my game, give the special bloodline; if I switch to pagan, will my lineage keep that bonus or would they lose it due to not being catholic anymore?
- They "easiest" way to do this would be marrying a pagan lady, then switching to her religion with an option that should pop-up in the complots menu, am I right? Then demanding the religious advisor to convert and from them start proselytizing our provinces, am I right?
- Last, but not least, I considered Tengri because I already played some viking chars and wanted something new, but any tips/suggestions will be welcomed.
