So right now I am playing as Germany and trying to convert a bunch of light tanks to light SP art, however to me it seems that the conversion cost is the same as the cost of prducing entirely new equipment? Mind you that just now realised that I hade forgotten to research "Improved equipment conversion" tech. However should it not still be some kind of benefit of converting equipment eventhough you have not researched this equipment bonus? Right now it seems to me that I am just wasting a bunch of light tanks for nothing?
