Converting a save file to a scenario

I'm trying to convert the save game file from my Roman 'Round the Med MES AAR to a scenario I can use to continue it past 1419 with the Grand Campaign monarchs, leaders and events. (Yes, I know that I can continue to play past 1419 in the Mongolian Empire scenario, but there are no monarchs, leaders or events scripted past that date.)

Besides deleting the monarch and leader tables stored in the save game file, changing the paths to the event files, editing any country tags that I change, and including definitions for the southern African and native American countries that are not used in the MES, what else should I be doing?

I would like to stand up as someone who waits to download this scenario, when Richard gets it done, as I am sure that there are more who are waiting all the same.

I just wanted to speak for all of those who wouldn't post. We loved the AAR, now we want to play it as a scenario. Thank you, to all who will help.
