Has anyone successfully converted a CKII game, using the most recent patch? Every time I try, I get a big old exclamation point indicating that only 1.23 will work.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
They don’t fully support this DLC anymore. It is very hard to debug, and they only update it periodically. It’s unfortunate. Revert to 1.23 if you want to use it I guess.
It's a CK2 DLC, not an EU4 DLC. So that means firstly that a new EU4 patch won't directly include updates for the converter, it will have to wait until CK2 team or someone else updates it.
