Converter GG CK2/Steam EU4

I bought my CK2 copy and dlcs from GamersGate, the new DLC is apparantly a steam exclusive unless you buy EU4 from GG. I didn't do it, I pre-ordered from Steam since buying the game from anywhere gives you a steam key.

If you preorder eu4 from GG you should get the GG version of the ck2 exporter dlc.

I have preordered EUIV from GG. Will the Converter DLC only work for a GG copy of CK2 and not for my steam copy?

Its either that or fuckover the people who bought ck2 at gg and have lots of dlc there.

I should have NEVER listened to the people wanting a non-steam version of ck2..

Converter should have been the first DLC to be announced, so people would know where to buy. Imagine how many people will have to cancel the preorder now...

It was not guaranteed to be implemented until late july. we had some backup plans.

If I copy my CK2 savegame from GG CK2 to Steam CK2 will everything be converted properly without the dlcs?

no problem at all, it will even do it for you.

We are going to try and sort out the situation with you getting the Steam version of the converter even though pre-ordering from GG. Stay tuned.
