Conversion in OTHER country!

I don't know if it is a BUG or FEATURE...
I played with Russia and attack Lithuania...
I win the war and get Welikia, Kursk and Tula in Peace deal...
So long so good.
BUT...
Before the war the AI Lithuania started conversion in Welikia.
When I got the province, the missionery graphics dissapeared.
But when the WAR ended a few months passed and...

Welikia (already mine) turned Catholic...

So may I ask is it a BUG or a Feature, working as desired?
