Hi, not sure if this had already been discussed but what i would really like to see come back into HOI is that when one of your allies get defeated, you get to take charge of the army that has been left behind. This was in HOI 2 but was not included in the 3rd which was a shame as i liked the fact that you could name these forces that would be under your control into 'free armies' that were in WW2 which would be more realistic than just having some of the defeated army trapped in Switzerland (which happened quite a lot in my games).

You make a good point, however I would prefer if government in exile retains control of it's remaining forces and is supplied by the leader of the alliance.

I believe it is a null point. When a nation capitulates all of it's armies disband.

However, there are exceptions. I know there is a National Focus for Britain or France (not sure which) which allows the British Player to essentially "vassalize" France so that they never capitulate (the British/French Union). We saw this in the multiplayer WWW stream back in Jan I think.

We can have both. Make it controllable by government in exile on default, with an option for the leader to ask for the direct control.
