Both Metamorphosis and Xenoplague Evolution are pretty uncontrolable. Sometimes I just do not want to evolve that Pikachu to a Raichu!

Ideally we want a proper button to decide if - and in what direction - to evolve a unit. Unless there is player choice, this is never going to make players happy.
But mods might have already given us that button!

Consider this idea:
- there is a mod you slot in to evolve a unit
- if there is multiple evolutionary directions, there will be one mod for each of them
- the mod is highly limited, and can only be applied on the right units.
- either the mod itself - or the evolution part of it's function - also requires a unit property
- that unit property is given as a prime rank reward

So we could have evolving units, but control the evolution too! We have our cake and eat it too!
For bonus points you want this mod slot (Evolution Plan?) to be exclusive for those mods. Luckily there is room for a 4th mod slot in the UI, that is just never used outside of heroes :)
