Currently, the number keys are used to change speed. In previous games, it was possible to assign units to control groups and re-select by hitting the number again or center camera on unit by double tapping. I would like to at least have the option to have this system back and return to +/- buttons for speed changing (preferably full button mapping customization).

Secondly, the UI of army selection and control is needlessly annoying and contradictory. Currently, when attempting to "box" units, the units don't get selected if you box the army icon (the thing that displays number and quality of unit). They only get selected if you "box" the physical model on the map, and by "physical model" i mean a tenth of the screen because if you make the box too small it'll randomly select some barony instead of the army even though your box completely covers the army. This can get annoying because the army icon is oftentimes quite a distance away from the army model (usually floating around a full barony away). This is rather contradictory because you're perfectly able to individually click on an army icon and select units that way. Why one and not the other?

The "h" button to "split off new army" straight up doesn't work and is overwritten by the government map mode. Not to mention half the army control commands don't have hotkeys at all.

Finally, please give us more map modes. I desperately would appreciate a diplomacy map mode so I can quickly check enemies, allies, negotiable alliances, and things of that nature. A map mode to see a color-code display of own direct holdings + direct vassals +liege if applicable. And the option to change the current way clicking on the map works where a zoomed out click selects liege or vassals (if you click on vassal holding) or county if you're zoomed in. Often times, I want to zoom out a bit to keep track of multiple army movements, and I don't want to paint the whole map and bring up the giant diplomacy/character screen every time I zoom out slightly too much and miss-click my army.

+1 on the map modes. Why do I have to use a mod in order to have a zoomed-in political view of the map? I have literally NEVER used the terrain map-mode in any Paradox game (EU3, Vicky 2, EU4, CK2), and only the single-terrain map-mode in EU4. Why do we have no choice on the matter? Also it is very annoying that county names disappear when you zoom in all the way. Either let the county names remain, or switch it to barony names, but don't give me this blank, tree-filled zoomed-in view.
