Continuous crashing when loading into a game

Hi,

One of my saves started acting up this morning. As the Kingdom of Sweden, I was waging a holy war for the region Käkisalmi in eastern Finland. The ruler of Käkisalmi also held a different county, Savo. When I tried to besiege Savo, the game would instantly crash. I eventually got around that by simply beseiging Käkisalmi instead, and ending the war that way.

However, that's when the real problems started. Now, I can not play for more than a few months without the game crashing. It absolutely has nothing to do with real time passed, since I was able to play the game paused without any trouble.

Any solutions?

This does sound like the known crash issue in 1.06b, but you could paste in a link to the problem saved game here for Paradox Support to confirm that.

Where would I find my save? In Steam, all I find is the screenshot folder.

Its in your my documents -> paradox interactive -> crusader kings ii -> save games.

Same thing here. I am able to play for a few days and then it crashes. The time I can play seems random but never more then a couple of months.

Alright, found it. When I try to attach the file, though, it says my quota is too low. Do I need to post more to increase my quota, or what?

It's best not to directly attach it here, but post it on any public file hosting site (eg Dropbox) and paste a link in here.
