Continuing Bastard's Wound (minor spoilers)

Hi everyone
Having a bit of trouble getting further in BW. I've only just arrived and got the first real quest and seem to be stuck. I took Jaspos' quest to get back "his" tools, then chose to let the real owner keep them and told him off when I found out they weren't really his (lying to a fatebinder!). Now he hates me and won't talk to me and now the only quest I have relates to finding Lantry's chronicle. It just says "when you get access to the lower section of Bastard's Wound, look for more stuff", but I can't find any way to get access. Exhausted dialogue with pretty much everyone else (including the Tidecaster guy), is there someone I'm missing?

Talk to others. Such as Eisley up by the forge.

If the Tidecaster didn't give you a quest*, you need to go Bastard's Wound Farm (the portal is in the middle of the settlement) and complete Tycho's quest

I'd suggest to talk to the Beastwoman guard first

. If you manage to "upset" Wagstaff and Jaspos both, then I recommend to talk to Mell. If not, to Wagstaff.

if you talked to Jaspos without confirming the fate of the Wound and to Wagstaff afterwards, only the leader, to whom you clarified your intentions toward the settlement, gives his quest (Knapping on the Job or Tide Together).
