Just watched Bombadils streams and there were two missions on the same map where he had to destroy a pirate lance.
There were also reinforcements, but after killing the target lance, the mission ended, although there were still enemies left.

Suggestion:
Make two buttons to choose from when the objective is reached... one "end misson" and one "continue", where you can still defeat the remaining forces and then let the mission end.

I think this has been identified as a possible bug.

But if not, I fully agree.

A lot would depend on the circumstances. Remember your a merc and hired for a specific job. Once the job is complete it is usually better to withdraw and conserve your mechs. Taking on the extra targets with no direct cash ebenfit to counter the risk is just not a smart move.

While that is true, IIRC these same manner of Mission (when completed by Cohh) gave him upwards of a 10%, maybe 25% Contract Bonus for destroying All Enemies Present.

One Mission as I recall, even had a hidden Contract Bonus. Which I have no problem with. It is basically the Employer rewarding Contract Execution that he judged warranted special recognition. Such revealed and unrevealed "Contract Incentive Clauses" also might come to be more common with a particular Employer once reputation with that Employer increases past a certain point.

Seeing as how "Reputation" does not seem to be accruing very fast for any of the current Streamers, this might be something that will have to wait on the 24th of April and BATTLETECH's Launch so we can suss it out for ourselves. : )
