I would add a slavic event connected with the Kurentovanje (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurent - it is (still) celebrated in Slovenia every year).

The Kurent (part of the costume is important for the event ;)):
Kurent or Korant is the most famous traditional carnival figure of the entire region, and arguably, the most recognizable in all of Slovenia. While Kurent groups might not all look exactly the same, it is the most popular and frequent traditional carnival figure in the Ptuj and Drava fields, and in the Haloze Hills.

Kurent or Korant, as it is known today, has its origin in popular tradition. Traditionally, the Kurent's outfit was reserved for unmarried men, but nowadays Kurent-Korant can be unmarried or married men, as well as well women and children.

The two types of Slovene Kurent-Korant are the so-called »feathery« (from the town of Markovci) and the »horned« ones (from Haloze), with the difference being mainly in the look of the head covering. The Kurent-Korant wears a massive sheepskin garment. Around its waist hangs a chain with huge bells attached—the resulting noise does a great job of chasing away winter, which is, ostensibly, the Kurent's function. The Korent also wears heavy boots and special red or green leg warmers, while the head is covered by a towering furry hat festooned with ribbons, and a mask typically sporting a long, red tongue. A wooden club is normally carried in the left hand.

The point of the Kurentovanje:
The main figure, called Kurent or Korent, wears a massive sheepskin garment and a chain with huge bells around its waist, resulting in the noise the function of which is to "chase away winter". The ten-day rite of spring and fertility is most likely connected to Slovene mythology and Slavic paganism.

Event text:
[maybe some details about the Kurentovanje followed by]
During the parade of the Kurents your courtir [name] makes an improper joke about what the Kurents could do with their tongues.

Trigger:
-Must be slavic pagan
-Month must be februar
-The courtir who makes the joke should not be a slavic pagan

Options:
-Laugh [-20 piety; +5 relation with the courtir; x% chance to get trait Lustful]
-Ignore him [-5 piety]
-Make him wish he had hold his tongue [-25 relation with the courtier; +30 piety]

EDIT: about the event picture - i guess it is quite obvious that a Kurent would be the best choise :p Example:

Kinda modelled on the death of Turgesius:

Trigger: Character is unmarried Norse Pagan who has declared war against or is raiding an Irish ruler with a daughter (attractive?) of marriageable age.

Event Text: While on campaign, you see through the clearing a beautiful women, accompanied by twelve veiled maidens. She claims to be {name of ruler}'s daughter, and that in return for peace and alliance with you, her father offers you her hand in matrimony and her handmaidens to do with as you please.

Option A No woman's love can quench my bloodlust.

(+ 50 prestige. 50% chance Character gains the trait, wroth, -20 relations with prince)

Option B (if character is paranoid): This must be a trap! Slay them all.

(The princess and handmaidens are slain, -100 relations with prince, 75% gain the trait wroth).

Option C (if character is cynical): I trust not this prince of Ireland. Seize the princess as my concubine, and make messengers of these handmaidens.

( + 50 prestige, princess becomes concubine, handmaidens are slain, - 50 relations with prince, 50% chance character gains deceiftul trait).

Option D (compulsory if character has lust trait): That'll do nicely.

(triggers Ambush event)

Ambush Event Text:

Ambush! The handmaidens were beardless boy soldiers and have captured you, fettered you and brought you to a dirty stream. Crowds of vengeful Irishmen surround you their eyes filled with an insatiable bloodlust, while the Irish prince stands regally, staring upon you from the bank with a wry smile and his arms crossed. A burly executioner grabs you by the hair. Before plunging you under, the prince roars "Now Gentile, it is time you gained your patrimony".

Option A: Gurgle

(Character dies).

Trigger: Character is Zoroastrian. Character has Improve Learning ambition.

Event Text: You have begun reading the Gathas, in both the contemporary Persian language and in the ancient Avestan tongue. The words of Zoroaster himself race through your mind as you study each song carefully and contemplate their true meanings. Through conversations with [random character in same court with ecclesiastical education and Zoroastrian religion], you learn that, since the Gathas were first composed by Zoroaster, the priests would memorise them in their entirety, along with many of the books which comprise the Avesta. It was thanks to such "living books" that so much of the Avesta survived Iksander the Accursed's cruel rampage through Persia.

Option A: Nemô vê gâthå ashaonîsh!
+25 opinion with [random ecclesiastical character]
+1 Learning
25% chance of +3 Learning

Option B: Enough of the Gathas. The Vendidad seems much more interesting...
+10 opinion with [random ecclesiastical character]
+1 learning
50% chance of gaining the trait Zealous

Option C: This is getting tiring...
*Character looks for another way to improve learning

Esemesas just beat me to the wife/concubine event I had in mind, but may I suggest that the wife/concubine gains the "Attractive" trait?

I do, however, have another idea, based on the ancient Norse tradition of flyting, a poetical battle of wits and insults. There is a chance of rather severe effects, though only a small one.

-----------------------

Event name: A Battle of Wits

Trigger: Norse pagan, holding or guest to a feast, hunt, fair or similar festive event, other character attending event has non-positive opinion of character

Text: As you sit in the mead hall one evening, telling tall tales of your deeds, one of your companions [randomly picked among the attendants with negative opinion] stand up and speak to you.

"Your doings
ye should never
publish among men.
Thou art a boasterous oaf
Fit more for the mead hall
than the fields of battle."

You can not let this insult stand. Will you engage him[/her] in the ancient tradition of flyting, a battle of wits and insults, or prove your worth to those present in other ways?

Option A: Sit down and keep your mouth shut. [not available if character is ambitious, brave or proud]
Code:
-10 prestige
-5 general opinion modifier for 5 years
25% chance of getting craven.

Option B: Engage him in a battle of wits
Code:
25% chance of gaining each others grudging respect
     Both characters +20 prestige
Both characters +25 opinion of each other
20% chance of winning the battle of wits
     +20 prestige
+5 general opinion modifier for a year
20% chance of losing the battle of wits
     -20 prestige
10% chance of humiliating opponent
     You gain 50 prestige
You gain +5 general opinion modifier for 5 years.
     Opponent -50 opinion of you
     Opponent -50 prestige
10% chance of opponent humiliating you
     You lose 50 prestige
You get a -5 general opinion modifier for 5 years.
     Your opinion of opponent -50
10% chance of a brawl breaking out
20% chance of gaining the trait wounded
+20 prestige for character and opponent
5% chance of opponent challenging you to go holmgång
     Triggers homgång event.

Option C: Walk over to him and engage him physically
Code:
10% chance opponent backs down
     Opponent loses 10 prestige
     25% chance to gain craven
45% chance you win the fight
     Gain 20 prestige
20% chance opponent gains the trait wounded
45% chance you lose the fight
     Opponent gain 20 prestige
20% chance you gain the trait wounded

Option D: Challenge him to go holmgång! [not available if character is craven]
Code:
70% chance opponent backs down
     Opponent loses 50 prestige
     75% chance opponent gains craven
30% chance opponent accepts
You go holmgång! [triggers holmgång event]

You become a man (pagan)

If your character is the ruler and age 10 or above his regency will end he will stay the same age but have all the powers of an adult except the ability to marry

Event text could be something like this: I don't see why a regent rules my lands when i was born to rule? Many other places have been ruled by people younger then me so why shouldn't i rule alone? I do not need a regent I am a man not a boy as they would have me believe.

option A
Become a man (no more regent) (increase prestige)
option B
Still need guidance (continue with regent) (increase piety or some other bonus)

Basically so as a pagan you can continue to expand with war or keep your kingdom safe rather then have a regency ruin your hard work.

Trigger:
Tengri emperor or king.
Not zealous.

Event: Hold a debate among different religions.
There is a long going polemic between the so-called Christian and Muslim religions. Their arguments should be something entertaining to hear. We could hold a contest among their clerics to see who have the most solid beliefs of them.

Option 1: Hold the contest!
-50 gold
+30 piety
+10 prestige
One of these options will happen:
70% Nothing happens
15% I'm really impressed by the arguments of the Muslims! Convert to Sunni
15% I'm really impressed by the arguments of the Christians! Convert to Nestorian

Option 2: What a waste of time!
-10 piety
One of these options will happen:
50% nothing happens
30% gets the cynical trait
20% gets the lazy trait
