Note: This is a real historical event, taken from the Primary Chronicle. In 946 Olga takes 4-years old Svyatoslav to the battle against Drevlyans and makes him cast the first spear. Sveneld, his tutor and the commander of the army, exclaimed the historical phrase (кнѧзь оужє почалъ. потѧгнємъ дружино по кнѧзи). The rest of the text is mine. English is not my native language, so I am sure the style of the text can be improved.

Trigger:
Be a Norse or Slavic pagan between 6 and 9 years old. Have an army (optional: an army lead by your tutor) raiding, sieging or engaging in a battle.

Text
"Today these men will be killing and dying for you, young (your first name)". Your guardian rides his steed to take his place in front of the army. A slave takes the reins of your horse and it follows (Guardian's first name). The sky is dark, but you sense hundreds of people wathing their leader's every move. Are they watching you? After both horses stopped, you still grip the mane of yours tightly.
You and (Guardian's first name) stay silent for a moment, as you watch the sun tip the corner of the sky with brightness. "The dawn". You hear a sudden softness in your tutor's voice. "The battle will start now". He turns to you holding out a spear. "Now, my (your primary title), - (Guardian's first name)'s tone raises, so that everyone hears him, - you are to cast the first spear towards the enemy".
You stretch your hand to take it, but the spear is heavy. You struggle to make a throw, but you barely manage to toss it forward. The spear flows between the ears of the horse and lands beside its feet with a loud clang. For a moment, the only thing your hear is your heart's pounding.
"The (your primary title) struck bravely. He has already begun the battle; press on, vassals, after the (your primary title)!".
The thunder of cheering cry almost deafens you as your men begin the charge.

Effects:
- I have to be brave to inspire my men. (traits: brave and/or inspiring leader)
- A good leader is someone who picks right words at the right time. (traits: organizer and/or +2 intrigue)
- My victory. The army exists to fight for my cause. (traits: aggressive leader and/or ambitious)
- I watched how the battle had unfolded and learned from how (Guardian's first name) commanded the men (+2 martial and/or +2 learning)
