Hello Paradox! I don't know whether you already have them in the game, or plan to have, but I think that the IMMORTALS just have to rise again!

Trigger:
Be a zoroastrian persian emperor, have above 5000 prestige.

Event text:
Now that the old mighty Persian empire has, once again, risen from the ashes, it's high time to revive one of its core symbols - the Immortals. An elite unit within imperial army, they will strike fear into the hearts of our enemies even before engaging them in battle. Let the world tremble as the Immortals march to glory!

Option A: Some things just won't die! (or, if you like references, The Show Must Go On!)
The Immortals appear as a vassal mercenary unit.
Gain 1000 prestige.

Option B: Who Wants to Live Forever? (can't think of a better option )
Nothing happens.
Gain "Humble" trait.

I know the Immortals are something very anscient, but the Sassanids had something similar, the Zhayedan, an elite cavalry force. So I guess it's ok. The Immortals can be for the persians something like the varangians for the byzantines, or mamluks for the egyptians.

Thought of a better way to do it:

Event: The Niflung Hoard!

Trigger:
A Character of Norse Religion loots a holding along the Rhine.

Event Text:
Your victory is exalted before the Terrible One-Eye God. Raven's gleefully feast upon the slain.
Even as you and your men rejoice in the slaughter you notice a glimmer of gold by the water's edge. Curiously you and your hird-men trudge through the shoreline to investigate. You push the mud away from the glittering objects and realize that a vast hoard has been uncovered. Surely this is a boon from the All-Father, for the chiseled runes reveal this is none other than the Niflung hoard! However, dark clouds fill the horizon and the tides seem unsteady. It appears the Thunderer is less willing to allow you to part with such gifts. You must act quickly if anything is to be saved.

Option A: Have your men recklessly grab whatever gold they can carry before the river swallows the hoard.
+75 gold
80% Chance of getting the Greedy Trait
20% Chance of getting the Cynical trait

Option B: You notice a stunning ring of power with an other-worldy allure and grab it for yourself.
+120 gold
70% chance of getting the Possessed Trait
30% chance of getting the Gluttonous Trait

Option C: You pull from the mud the most impressive sword you've ever seen.
+100 prestige
80% chance of getting the Brave Trait
20% chance of getting the Ambitious Trait

Option D: You tell your men to back up and let the Rhine keep its' secret. It was an honor just being allowed to see the mythic hoard.
+200 piety
100% chance of gaining the Zealous Trait
10% chance of gaining Slothful Trait
10% chance of getting the Lunatic Trait

The last Shah of Iran also had an elite military unit often referred to as the Immortals. They were disbanded after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, though.
