Trigger: Ruler's Culture is Norse, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Anglo-Saxon. Province religion in ruler's capital is Asatru. Ruler has at least one Asatru courtier. Ruler is Christian or Muslim. Give it a pretty hefty MttH—240 months, maybe.

Title: Something for nithing?

Text: One of your courtiers, (name), comes to you in great distress. It seems that at dinner a few nights ago, another man insulted his honor in public, accusing him of... well, the specifics aren't important. The important thing is that rather than defend his honor by demanding holmgang—a ritual duel to the death—(name) shrugged off the insult and went on with his dinner. Word spread, and now the local populace considers him nithing, a ritual outcast. They will not speak to or do business with him, and he fears that he may be killed at any moment. He begs you to intercede on his behalf.

Option A: I will have no truck with nithings. Begone lest I kill you myself.

-15 relations with Christian vassals.
-15 relations with head of religion.
90% chance of loses Zealous.
Courtier flees to another court. (If possible, to a court whose Lord keeps any religion other than Asatru.)

Option B: I will not countenance such pagan superstitions. Any man who shuns you or raises a hand to you will answer to me.

+10 relations with Christian vassals.
-15 relations with Asatru vassals.
Courtier converts to ruler's religion.
10% chance of gains Zealous.

Option C: There's got to be some way to avoid antagonizing anyone. Aren't nithings known for sorcery?

Courtier dies.
50% chance of loses Zealous.
10% chance of gains Cruel.
50% chance of gains Cynical.

He even manged to capture some of them and drag them chained all the way to your castle!

Is Norse
Has just stormed a holding(preferably a castle).
Is leading his forces in the army.
Text:
Your men swarm across the courtyard, setting fire to buildings and slaying any in their path. Suddenly, you hear a high-pitched yell and quickly turn around. A boy is charging you with a broken sword! You easily slap the weapon out of his hand and strike him with your free hand. He falls to the ground, tears streaming out of his eyes but still glaring at you defiantly.
Options:
A: Little brat, you shouldn't have attacked me.
You slay the child, 25% chance of getting Wroth trait

B: You have spirit. Perhaps you can be of use...
A (holding culture) child named (name) appears at your court (Note: he should be aged from 8-12 and could possibly have a slight relation penalty towards you, due to being a captive)

C: The Gods will decide what to do with you!
Gain 20 piety and +5 relations with your Court Chaplain(or whatever his title is for pagans)

I also had an idea for raiding a Monastery(I imagine this has already been done but I haven't read all of these)
Trigger:
Is Norse
Is raiding a Christian province
Event:
Your ship is sailing across the dark seas with only the light of the moon to guide you. Suddenly, you spot a small light by the shore. As you approach, you see it is a temple to the weakling god of these lands. As you approach, a priest walks out, calmly welcoming you in the name of his false god Jesus

Options:
A: Shut up, old man! I don't care that your god was nailed to a tree, give us your gold!
Gain 5 prestige and add a small amount of money to your raid horde
B: Go in peace, priest.
Lose 5 prestige and have 50% chance to gain the Kind trait
C: Your bravery impresses me. Tell me more of this 'Jesus'.
Lose 10 prestige and 10 piety. A scholar named (name) appears at your court. 30% chance of being converted to Christianity. (Note:Must not have Zealous Trait)
D: If you give us your hidden treasure, we'll let you live.
Add more gold to your raid horde than you get in option A. (Note: Must have Greedy trait.)

I also think some kind of weregild system could be implemented, where if you are discovered when you assassinate someone, his/her family could demand money instead of sending assassins after you in kind. (Weregild may only apply to men I'm not sure about the specifics of it). Maybe the amount of money paid could be how much money you would have to spend when giving a gift to them.
Obviously you could refuse to pay it and lose say 25 piety and making your courtiers dislike you by 10, since weregild was a common tradition in Norse and Germanic societies.
