I don't want to see dumb duels between supertanks again or cv sniping or all that crap from wargame. That's what made me stop RD.
I 100% see where your frustration comes from, and agree with it, but at the same time, I did kinda enjoy super tank duels. And you can very easily avoid that simply by limiting the ERA to be played (there are not really super tanks in a restricted '70's deck for example)

I think a cool, potential future wargame could be one set in the current era, BUT, all the expensive programs that fundamentally went nowhere/were cancelled were allowed to be fully functional in game
(US Comanche, for example)

Wargame is not going to happen in that kind of sense... Focus has the IP.

And I have a feeling paradox will bury SD as well. Well, maybe the agreement was to make 2 SDs but still.

Actually no, it is completely against radio procedure to fill up the net with unnecessary traffic, to include swearing. Would someone, perhaps in a full blown panic do that? Maybe.
But typically no, you need to keep the channel as clear as possible for important information to flow freely. It is very looked down upon to be swearing over a net.
During my time in, I never heard anyone swear during official radio net use (as a joke on the side, messing with someone, sure)
Speaking from service in the US military, profanity does happen on the net. However, net traffic is not "filled with profanity" like some ignorant individuals claim. As you said, it can happen when a bit of a panic sets in or things are getting super heated. Nothing like having a couple 7 elements, or more rarely 6 elements, get into a pissing contest over the net. Also, if your net is cut off from main units (like you are out of range of your X-Ray elements, with Sergeant Major isn't around it is time to play!) and you are kinda out on your own, things can get a bit more lax.

That being said, having a bit more of the static and feedback would be nifty. I don't know if it's the same across other NATO/Warsaw countries, but from my times hauling around a SINCGARs and having a handmic constantly stuck to my ear that "booopBEEP" will never ever leave me.
